Here I am...

I was able to go visit with a good friend, Margaret this past week and again I am inspired by her "never give up" attitude. She has taken a grave situation and keeps working through each obstacle. It is wonderful to see her face as she explains each new step she is taking. May I always see her courage and perseverance and learn by her example. She inspires me to keep working on my patience and short comings. To each day be grateful for my life and stop taking moments for granted. There are countless times each day that I am given gifts....smiles, words of encouragements, hugs, thoughts of loved ones, memories of times past, promises of care and protection, enough to see me through. It takes just looking around to see how blessed I truly am and to be happy with who I am. When there is something that I do not like about myself - I have the ability to change that and to say to the world " Here I am!"
