First Day of Winter 2009

It is hard to think that we have not been in the winter season already with our cold and snow, but today is actually the 1st day beginning around noon. We have gently falling snow coming down now and they are saying we should have a white Christmas. My prayer is for snow but then great driving weather as we will be traveling right after Christmas this year to Chicago to meet up with my sisters and nieces for a couple of days in the "Windy City" and then they will return with us to Plainwell for a baby shower for Kari and Sophie on the 2nd of January. I love that we are getting together as a family at this time even though it will not be all. To those who will not be present - we love you and you will be missed.
