The quest for character requires that certain things be kept in the heart as well as kept from the heart.
I can tell you that every single experience you go through changes you in some way. Every new person who comes into your life changes you. Every moral dilemma or emotional experience you come up against changes you. It is your job to decide HOW. That is how character is developed.

We are not human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience!
