As Autumn arrives, I am still clinging to Summer. The weather has been warm and I still wear sandals and no sleeves as we have 80 plus degrees! Storms have also been present with loads of lightening and booming thunder! But football and students back at WMU do point to crisper nights and leaves turning, fires crackling in the fireplace, chili simmering on the stove and fresh apples to munch on. I look back on this summer and again am thankful to live so close to a big beautiful Great Lake. To spend time wandering the beaches, collecting stones or snapshots of the light houses or breaking waves or just people on the beach! To spend time in the beach towns and explore shops purely there to entice tourists or find quaint restaurants and sample their specialties. These have all been a part of my Summer. But now I say hello to Fall...
