Long time passing...

It has been over a year now that Derek and I have been together. Many adventures and memories made within that time. Yesterday he decided to find out just how good a care giver I could be! He went into the hospital and had emergency surgery where they removed 8 inches of intestine and repaired two hernias! He will now be healing at the hospital for a couple of days and home for a bit longer. Derek has been working diligently around the house on many different honey do things for me and I know they will sit heavy on his mind to get back to, so I will check with some guys from church to see if they can help me out! I am also hoping that Derek can use this time now to spend some time with Cody, his son, before Cody heads off to Washington to live! Timing could not have been better as Cody is done with work now and could spend some time with his dad.
