After the Green....

What a drop dead glorious day we were given yesterday! Over 70 and sunny with all the promise of spring hitting all the senses. After a full day of work I spent time in my back yard with Mel, cleaning up this winters dumps and dead. It felt good to get back to the earth and revel in the day. Then off for a power walk around town to see many neighbors doing the same, collecting winter's left overs and just enjoying the fresh air. Now today is a bit cloudy and only in the 50's closer to a normal March day.

I had lunch with Lurinda and we recaped our last week's travel back from California. Both of us feel the pull of that great state and will return to enjoy the hospitality and visual stimulation as soon as we can. Her son Chris, will be returning next Tuesday to continue his training in Oceanside at Camp Penaltion. I found out from my mom that my Aunt Marie use to live there and worked for Delta airlines scheduling service men's trips home! I can understand wanting to be in that area.
