Spring is upon us.....

Let it never be said that I did not embrace life. Even when I find I have some moments, they are filled pretty quickly. Kari and the babies spent some time with me on Friday evening for a change of pace and some TLC. In watching that sweet little Sophie, I am amazed at how much she moves and the strength in that little 4 month old!
I think that she has something internally that is not allowing her to do much resting - even as she fell asleep she squirmed and thrashed her arms about. She would be still and then begin again. I could feel the frustration from Kari, even though she works very hard at staying calm. Wyatt has learned, to seek attention, he either needs to be as cute as a bug or naughty, and he goes between these two actions quickly. Saturday after sending this dear little family on their way, I went to spend time with Andrea at the Pi Phi's Mother/Daughter luncheon With pride in this mother's heart I watched my daughter easily embrace leadership. Andrea shines with confidence. I so enjoy just sitting back and watching her move through this life and I am so grateful that we share times of companionship and interests. It is an awesome time for us. I finished off the first day of spring with a visit out to Lu's house for some Wii time and conversation ~ trekking through the last of the snow and carefully picking my way home at day's end. Sunday after practice, church service, mission meeting and more praise practice, I headed home for time to myself and enjoyed conversation, bagging leaves outside and prepping meals for the this week. Talked to my dad down in Florida and off to some lounge time in the tub with a good book. I was in bed by 10:30 ( an accomplishment for me!) and ready for a new week. The sun broke forth this morning and after a trip to the chiropractor, I hope to get a long walk in with Mel and more done around the house to finish off this Monday.
