Try as I might I cannot get my mind around Margaret Spencer's accident. I have yet to go and visit her in Grand Rapids, Mary Free Bed Hospital, as I just found out about it on Sunday. She will be in the hospital for a while yet and things will need to be done at her home - that is where I might be able to be of most help.
The riding accident has left her paralyzed from the armpits down! A good friend of Margaret's, Kelly Oliver and I have talked and we are to work on some plans to assist Margaret in any way we can!
I know our GOD is big and that this is not beyond HIM. My prayers are for Margaret to walk again and to have peace through this process. On the phone, she is upbeat and typical of Margaret, in charge. I am going to try to head up that way on Friday after work and see her. I need to get myself under control and make sure that she knows she has a friend....
