...It has just expanded to reach South Africa and Andrea. Thank you to my family and friends who allowed me to come and visit for this past weekend. I was treated to company and good food and a place to gather my strength. I am back now and will get into my routine, which for me is healing balm. I gave myself permission to be lax last week and did not keep up the exercise or pay much attention to my eating. Today I am back with Fred, my trainer and to recording in my food journal. Mel and I walked this morning and I am going to try and add this to my daily morning ritual as we both need the time out of doors.
As always Milwaukee and it's inhabitants treated me well. Kim and Jim are still laying low to allow Jim that healing process...but he is doing great! Good movement in his left arm and his knee now bends! Hooray!!! I then went to Tom's down town Milwaukee and visited him and Keith at their new place. We ate well and walked down to the beach and around the neighborhood on Sunday, then onto Bastille's Day for the afternoon till I caught the train home.
Andy was there to give me a very much appreciated ride home and so.... another milestone done. Do not ever let it be said that we cannot grow!
The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime!
